Dwarfs Assembly Project Udate the First

Started my Dwarfs earlier in the week.

Decided to start with the Hammerers unit and then the Longbeards. Figured since they shared the same kit, building would be easier, and it was. These new Dwarf plastics are amazingly well done. Very easy to build, and the flashing and mold lines were within reason.

With all the excess parts left over, all I would need would be more body parts and I could have another unit of each.

High Elves Army Update. Almost Done!

I got a lot done with my army last night... Been sick all weekend so couldn't get to sleep...

The only thing left to do is finish the Skycutter Crew.

I completed the Knight build. This was a wonderful kit.

Cardboard Spacer and Sprue to allow full articulation in the waist

Magnetized the shoulder plates so arms can be removed.

GIANT ROBOT!!!

ahem... where was I... Ah, yes. This is the first giant robot kit I've assembled since I was a kid. I used to love the Revel Robotech Defenders line and I had most of the ones they released, especially all the Macross kits they did.

But I will say, this Imperial Knight kit has to be one of the best models Games Workshop has released in a long time. One of the best of their Giant Robot  kits that's for sure. There is far more detail on this model than the Riptide or Wraithknight combined. It is just amazing. There are a lot of small pieces, but not frustratingly so (at least not for me). This does make for a slow assembly as I am taking my time doing it.

Anyway, here is my progress
