Ch-Ch-Changes

So, I posted my BSB the other week. I had to finish my 40k CSM army, but now that they are done, its time to get back to my first love, Warriors of Chaos. I thought I would start a project log for my Mortals of Tzeentch army.



This is just the beginning. I'm currently building the Warshrine for the army. Once I finish and get more batteries for my camera, I'll post more pictures. Luckily, most of the army is built, it still needs painting however.

So, I am still working on this damn Heldrake...

Its a nice model, went together fairly easily. Until I got to attacking the arms... Trying to use Superglue so I can pop them off later for painting... Yeah, not an easy thing to do...

Thought I had it glued last night. Woke up to find both arms on, it looked solid. Tried putting it on its base when one arm fell off...

I reglued it. And not trusting to let it sit there unattended again, I tried just holding it... 20 minutes later, I startled awake... dropping what I had in my hands... both wings popped off when it hit the floor...

So now I start over again...

Yay me...


I cant start on the Forgefiend until the Heldrake is off the work bench.

Crimson Slaughter takes shape

I've been in a building frenzy this past week. Unfortunately, my camera is not what it once was... Flash only works when it wants too... Until I can get another camera, these are the best for now.

Ok, I've spent the last week building Chaos units for my 40k army (pictures when I get the better camera). I took a break from that when a bitz order came in this afternoon. Just finished building this:

As wishy-washy and indecisive as I am, Tzeentch is actually a really good fit for me.

Warriors of Chaos mutate once again!

So, my WoC army project kind of floundered... Mainly due to lack of direction... I didn't have a coherent plan... First I started out wanting to do Mono-Nurgle, then I ended up buying some Skullcrushers (6 of them...), and because of that, I ended up thinking of doing Tz/Khorne list...

Well screw it...

I scrapped all that...

My friend over at Rogue General Hunter just posted his new Empire army list, complete with character names and a direction and a theme and a heaping side of awesome packed into a 3000 point list. It shamed me...

This meant I had to get off my indecisive ass and FINALLY decide on a WoC army list... One I liked, one that inspired me, and one that I could field to play my friend and his Pirates themed Empire army.

While I was making this list, my creativity began to flow... As did my ideas on how to build this army. Well, build the parts that I currently don't have at least. MOST of it is already built, there are just a few things I need to get, and some bitz I've already ordered this morning. I'll be ordering the kits I need here in a few hours. Between this and getting my Chaos Space Marines up and running, I'm going to be busy!

Inspiration is one of my biggest motivators!


PS. I'll add names once I am done building the Lords and Heroes. I'll get a better feel for their character once I have actual models to represent them.

Chaos Space Marines Army is GO!

So, in my frenzy to buy Dark Angels models I bought 3 Dark Vengeance kits. I shelved the Chaos and didn't really think I would do anything with them, at least for a long time. Well, as indecisive as I am I seemed to have been making CSM army lists... This lead me to digging out all the Chaos Marines models I had. I've slapped together a list that I am kind of happy with. IT's not going to win me any tournaments, but it should be fun to play. And of course, since I am all about the story, I went ahead and decided that it would be a Crimson Slaughter army to counterpoint my Dark Angels. Hey, when GW finally puts out one of the most perfect Starter sets for a minis game, I'm going to leap in both feet first!
