Back to the Commission Work

Been a while since I got this project, I am seriously late in completing it. I've been concerned about my eyes so I didn't want to do any more of the commission work until I felt confident I wouldn't ruin the models. I started on the Grey Knight Terminator Squad for my friend. Here is the Weapons Specialist of the unit.

All Your Dungeons

So, I was cleaning out a box I haven't touched in 20 years the other day. I was surprised to find a few things I didn't realize I still had. I found a 2 level dungeon I had designed, probably around 1987-88. I'd have been about 15-16. As you can see, the first page is numbered and keyed, and the second isn't complete yet. I have no idea what this dungeon was for or why I even made it, and unfortunately I no longer have the key.

And the Eyes have It...

Part of the reason I've kind of stopped modeling and painting is that I've been having some trouble with my vision... Every time I try to paint or model anything with small details I lose focus and I get a headache soon after... So, I decided to see if that was still going on after a break... I've been itching to get back to it (plus I have two commissions I really need to finish) but I didn't know how. So, after I reworked my Daemon Prince for my Crimson Slaughter Chaos Marines, I figured I might as well go big as far as painting. Maybe a larger model with bigger details would help..

Well, it did help... But only in as much that it took longer for my eyes to go wonky and the headache to appear... So, I guess I need to have my eyes checked after all...

Anyway, here is the progress I have so far. I am just blocking in colors... This is NO WHERE near done... But you can at least see where it is going.

Chaosifying

So, here it is so far. I've added a few things to the Chaos Quadgun (more of a doubles).

I'm probably going to rework some bits here and there. I do like the Warriors of Chaos Chariot grill in front.

Quads

Made my Quadgun. I need to build a new base, or chaosify it more. Either way, it isn't done yet.

Landing Pad Commission pictures

Well here it is. It was not without its difficulties however. The legs were terribly bent, took a lot of glue and strategic use of clamps; but it came together finally.

It's been done for a while now, just now getting pictures taken.

Crimson Slaughter gets a new Friend

So, I had originally made this Daemon Prince for my Warriors of Chaos army. It wasn't Tzeentch enough for what I was wanting so I decided I will just redo it at a later point.

Not wanting to waste a good model, I went ahead and took it apart and rebuilt it for my Crimson Slaughter Chaos Marine warband.

I basically just added the shoulder pads replaced the head it had originally and gave it the Jason mask from the Defiler kit.
